A Transformation Project Manager is a skilled professional who can successfully guide Durban Girls’ College through our transformation journey. A good Transformational Project Manager combines strategic thinking, project management, communication skills and is a transitional, authentic leader.
The following will be regarded as a given;
Recent Project Management Experience
Experience in management of Transformation Projects, and design and delivery of transformation policies and procedures
The ability to create, review, analyse and amend the revelant Durban Girls’ College policies, processes, and procedures in line with the transformation process and inclusive of the community, for ratification by all stakeholders
The individual is required to support the leadership of the School and the Transformation Advisory Committee, reporting directly to the Executive Head.
The individual is required to meet and support the change in communications, engagement and planning the strategy
The primary focus is to ensure the support of implementation of the strategic transformation plan
The project is primarily internally focused but will require informing key stakeholders of the School
Assessment of the current Transformational Strategy, development of plan utilising new insights gained through transformation work at the School, tracking, reporting on milestones and assessing risk
Establish teams, co-ordinate staff engaged in the project and provide leadership, coaching, vision and direction in collaboration with the Head of the Transformation Committee and the Board of Governors
Managing stakeholder communication on all levels
Offering solutions and suggesting strategic changes
Ensure all the deliverable, objectives and outcomes are achieved as specified in accordance with the timescale and budget
Excellent stakeholder and relationship management
Excellent organisation skills
Excellent oral and written skills
Advisory skills including the ability to analyse, support and challenge
Sexual offender’s clearance certificate and Child Protection Register Certificate
