SENIOR PRIMARY Grade 4-7 Afrikaans Educator
Full-time, Permanent Position.
Start date: 1st of April 2025
Kammaland Primary School seeks to employ a dynamic, passionate and vibrant Grade 4-7 Afrikaans educator who aligns with the school’s vision of delivering a fun and innovative way of getting the curriculum across to its learners in a picturesque setting, surrounded by nature in the small town of Greytown
The ideal candidate is one who:
- adheres to the Christian Ethos of the School while respecting other religions
- has a 4-year teaching degree and/or PGCE with full SACE registration
- has two years, or more, experience teaching at a senior primary level as an Afrikaans educator
- is confident in curriculum management (CAPS), and reporting of pupil progress
- is informed of the latest developments and best practices in teaching and has a keen interest in latest educational trends
- collaborates openly and keenly with colleagues
- is proactive and maintains positive relationships with all stakeholders
- has a natural inclination toward constant improvement and personal growth
- has good verbal and written communication skills
- is computer literate
- can adapt to a “small town” way of living if relocation is required
- has coached various sport (netball, hockey, athletics, cross country)
- has a background in music (extremely advantageous)
