Senior Primary Art and Music Educator
Christian Brothers’ College Boksburg is a premier Independent Boys School on the East Rand of Johannesburg and is seeking an individual with energy, a strong work ethic, integrity, and vision in the position of a Senior Primary (Grade 4 – 7) Art and Music educator.
The staff member will report directly to the Primary School Principal.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Experience in Music education
- Experience in Art teaching preferred
Requirements
- Proficiency in English language instruction.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with young learners.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and differentiated instruction.
- Must be SACE registered.
- Be passionate about boys’ education and promoting a love of Art and Music.
- An awareness of the nature of the College and willingness to commit to its Catholic ethos and appreciation of its traditions.
- Ability to foster and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- A commitment to on-going personal and professional development.
- Willingness to be involved in our extensive extra-mural programme is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic Art lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
- Develop the school’s music programme.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every learner feels valued and supported.
- Assess learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback to promote growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support learner success.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Uphold CBC Boksburg’s ethos and values, as an Independent Catholic School in all interactions with students, staff, and the broader community.
