Ikusasa Lethu is a Saturday school which provides support to learners from the five high schools in Alexandra and the surrounding communities.
Talented and interested learners from Grades 8 to 12 are offered additional teaching in a variety of core subjects. These young students aim to boost
their results to enter tertiary education.
St Mary’s School provides the premises and facilities, recruits the teachers, arranges transport, and provides food and beverages for the learners on this programme.

SENIOR LIFE ORIENTATION TEACHER
- The position will commence on 1 January 2025
- Experience in career guidance and financial literacy is paramount.
- Flexibility and the ability to teach online are an advantage.
- The school operates on a four-week cycle from 08h30 to 14h00.
- Generous remuneration per lesson is offered. This covers lesson preparation, marking and learner support time.
