Christ Church Preparatory School and College is an independent school in Midrand. We have a Christian ethos and core values and our aim is to develop young men and women of Christian character within an institution of academic and extra-mural excellence. The school ranges from Grade 000 to Grade 12.

We are looking for a full time SENIOR AFRIKAANS educator, qualified to teach Grade 7 to Grade 12, to commence on 1 September 2024.

The applicant must:

  • Be a Protestant based Christian and support and promote the school’s Christian ethos.
  • Be fully qualified and registered with SACE and if not South African, have the necessary work permit to qualify for employment in South Africa.
  • Have experience in teaching senior grades.
  • Experience in marking grade 12 NSC IEB exams would be an advantage.
  • Enthusiasm for developing creative and critical thinking in learners is desired.
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Teaching of the IEB curriculum, will be a distinct advantage.
