SENIOR SCHOOL TEACHER (PART-TIME)
St Catherine’s School is a co-educational Catholic day school situated in Parkhill Gardens, Germiston. The school was established in 1908 by the Newcastle Dominican Sisters and educates pupils from Grade 000 to Matric. The school is registered with the I.E.B. and is a member of both I.S.A.S.A. and the Catholic Schools’ Office. St Catherine’s aims to be a leading provider of quality independent education on the East Rand.
SENIOR AFRIKAANS F.A.L. TEACHER (GRADE 10)
JANUARY 2025 – DECEMBER 2025
We seek to appoint a dynamic graduate teacher in the specified subject specialty. Experience in teaching in an independent school would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite.
Further requirements include the following:
- A minimum of two years’ teaching experience
- Support of the school’s religious ethos
- A willingness to participate fully in the school’s co-curricular programme, and in particular, the sports component (please specify your area of skill and experience)
- Computer literacy
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Sound organizational and administrative skills
- S.A.C.E. registration
- Current police clearance certificate
