Preparatory Teacher Music


Due to exciting personal developments for the current incumbent the College invites
applications for the following rare opportunity.

Ideally the College would like the successful applicant to commence duties on 01 January 2021


The successful applicant will :

  • Possess suitable academic and teaching qualifications and SACE registration.
  • Prepare pupils for school functions and facilitate their performances therein.
  • Be an adept piano accompanist and play the piano at selected school functions.
  • Be competent and comfortable with English as the Language of learning and teaching and all communication.
  • Be passionate and motivated to teach class music and theory in the Preparatory Phase.
  • Contribute to the generation of teaching and assessment material.
  • Participate continuously and willingly in our preferred co-curricular programme.
  • Show evidence that they will support the Christian ethos and values of the College.
  • Apply knowledge and experience of IT in the classroom teaching and administration environments.
  • Contribute to the familial collegiality of the Prep staff team.
  • Be a willing and active participant in broader school activities and events.
