Prep School IT Teacher

WHPS is a Traditional / Christian-based school specialising in the education of boys from Grade 0 to 7, and Prep-Prep boys and girls.

We are currently seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced person to teach in our school.

Post Requirements:

  • A dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative individual with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong administration, organisational and time-management skills.
  • A sound work ethic and an interest in working with the Senior Deputy Head Academics, Head of Department Senior Prep, Head of Department Junior Prep and the teaching team to prioritise individual pupil attainment and achievement.
  • Nurture and promote personal excellence for all pupils at WHPS
  • Proficient computer and IT skills and experience in the integration of technology in teaching.
  • Proficient in the English language with good report-writing skills.
  • Fully support the academic, sport, cultural and extra-mural programmes at WHPS.
  • Experience and ability to teach IT from Grade 0 to Grade 7.
  • Ability to teach programming and coding.
  • Experience and ability to teach across the curriculum from Grade 4 to 7.
  • Fulfil the role of a Register Class Teacher in the Senior Prep if required
  • Ability to coach sport in a boys environment is a strong recommendation.
  • SACE Membership.

Start 1 January 2025.
