St Dunstan’s College is an independent co-educational school in Rynfield, Benoni, founded in 1918. The Pre-School seeks to recruit a suitable applicant for the following position:

PRE-SCHOOL TEACHER – CHILDREN 3 to 6 YEARS OF AGE

Commencement Date: 1 January 2025

The successful candidate must:

  • be a committed, dynamic, innovative and motivated teacher.
  • have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Bachelor’s Degree + Post Graduate Certificate in Education (in Early Childhood Development or Foundation Phase) and be SACE registered.
  • have Pre-School and/or Grade R experience.
  • be computer literate and confident in the use of technology.
  • be able to work within a team-based environment and collaborate with other teachers, assistant teachers and the Head of the Pre-School.
  • have good English written and verbal skills.
  • fulfil supervision duties as assigned – including some morning, evening and weekend events.
  • show commitment and uphold the ethos, values and vision of the School.
  • appreciate working in a Christian, Anglican environment.
  • be willing to apply for clearance with the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offenses Register.
