St Paulus Primary School invites candidates to apply for the following position:

PRE-SCHOOL TEACHER 2025

The school is looking to appoint a full-time, experienced Pre-School Teacher with effect from January 2025. Candidates must have relevant qualifications. Please note that consideration will only be given to candidates with the following:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A valid Matric Certificate.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Foundation Phase and ECD.
  • Relevant experience in the ECD Phase.

SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • An in-depth knowledge of the CAPS Foundation Phase ECD curriculum.
  • Patience, compassion, and a nurturing attitude towards children.
  • Advanced ICT skills with the ability to incorporate technology into teaching and administrative practice.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with a strong work ethic.
  • English and Afrikaans proficiency, with excellent written and communication skills.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Willingness to participate in and co-ordinate extra mural activities.
  • Practicing Catholic or thorough understanding of Catholicism.
  • Willingness to participate in the broader life of the school and uphold Catholic ethos.
  • SACE Registration.
  • A valid Police Clearance Certificate.
