Pre-primary Teacher

10 October 2022 or 1 January 2023

The position requires an inspiring individual who:

  • Is an excellent communicator and collaborator
  • Shows exceptional organisational skills and initiative
  • Considers themselves adaptable, open to change and illustrates creativity in their approach.

Professionally, we wish to meet a candidate who:

  • Has a proven, thorough knowledge of early childhood development
  • Demonstrates a sound knowledge of the importance of 21st century learning skills as building blocks to future learning
  • Can implement digital literacy into the curriculum
  • Can implement differentiated and personalised teaching
  • Has a sound knowledge of inquiry-based teaching.

The successful candidate will hold a four-year teaching degree in ECD or Foundation Phase and current SACE registration. You will have been in a similar position for a minimum of two years. As a teacher, you will show commitment to the development of students, high energy levels as well as provide and safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning.

St Cyprian’s School is on a journey of Transformation and the successful incumbent will be expected to contribute positively to the successful outcome of this journey.
