Clifton Nottingham Road invites applications for a Pre-Primary Phase Teacher
Clifton Preparatory School is an independent co-educational school offering schooling from Grade 000 to Grade 7, with boarders from Grade 1 to Grade 7. Founded in 1942, Clifton is set on a 64-hectare estate in the KZN Midlands. An opportunity exists for an outstanding Pre-Primary Phase teacher to join Clifton Preparatory School. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of high academic standards and working effectively within a team.
Requirements:
- The requisite professional and academic qualifications and full SACE registration
- Two years minimum experience teaching in the Pre-Primary or Junior Phase
- An ability to plan and implement a curriculum that promotes excellence
- Comprehensive computer literacy and the ability to integrate technology into your teaching programme in
the classroom and online - Willingness to participate in the extra-mural activities and events as required

- Establish and sustain effective, positive relationships with all staff, students and parents
- Ensure quality delivery of the curriculum
- Be collaborative and strategic with the ability to perform under pressure
- Sound knowledge and commitment to employing best practice in education
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to take initiative
- Applicant must be able to work independently and show initiative around teaching
- Implementation of innovative ideas within the classroom
- Positive attitude and proven belief that all students can learn
- Enthusiastic, committed and motivated as well as being flexible where necessary
- Represent the school with high ethical standards
