St John’s Pre-Preparatory forms part of St John’s College offering tuition from Grade 0 to 2. The school has an outstanding record in preparing young boys for their Prep and College careers and offers an excellent curriculum which is enriched with music, art, drama and sport.

We seek to appoint a dynamic part-time Pre-Preparatory Afrikaans Teacher.

The successful candidate should:

  • Have a suitable degree, a teaching qualification, and be registered with SACE
  • Minimum of 4 years’ teaching experience in the same and/or similar type of position
  • Be passionate about teaching and have the vision to enhance the curriculum in the development of Afrikaans.
  • Be passionate about the importance of creativity in the curriculum
  • Be innovative and comfortable using technology in the classroom
  • Be able to interact positively with parents
  • Be able to develop and sustain new ideas and work cooperatively in a team
  • Have an appreciation of the traditions and Anglican ethos of the school
