Part-time Natural Science Teacher
The Deutsche Schule Durban is looking for a part-time Natural Science teacher, starting in January 2025, to teach Natural Science to its Grade 5 to 7 classes. This will involve approximately 7 hours of teaching a week, preferably on no more than 2 separate days, and ideally but not limited to Wednesday and Fridays.
Sound command of the German language is preferable but not a pre-requisite, and the ideal candidate will be SACE registered, confident and caring and will have the ability to effectively and enthusiastically engage with senior primary school children. In addition to that, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential, so too a sound knowledge of the subject material and the ability to meet deadlines.
