With a burgeoning reputation and the Past vs Present cricket match already a 20-year-old tradition, Old Andreans felt it was time to establish an association to honour their school and in 1886, the Old Andrean Club was formed. The Reverend Hubert Mosel MA (1880) had proposed that it should be named the ‘Old Andrean’ rather than the ‘Past Andrean’ Club. It exists because St Andrew’s College does and the ethos that the school espouses is intrinsic to the role of the Club. The school will always need the support of Old Andreans if it is to continue to ‘Grow Good Men’ who will have a positive impact on the world.
At its core, it aims to create a lasting connection between St Andrew’s College and its alumni, ensuring that the bonds forged during their time at school continue to strengthen and evolve.
