The Bridge Nursery School is a preschool for ages 2 to 5 years old. The Bridge provides a nurturing and child-centered environment where a diverse group of children play, learn and grow. Our beautiful facility provides the perfect setting for children to learn through play. The children are exposed to a rich tapestry of learning, preparing them for entrance to Grade 0. The classes are small in number, and emphasis is placed on individual teaching, ensuring that each child is known and loved.

Applications are invited from teachers who fulfil the following criteria:

  • Have a relevant ECD qualification
  • Previous teaching experience in the ECD phase
  • First Aid level 1 or above
  • Be willing to undertake training and learning in innovative ECD teaching philosophies
  • Committed to continuous personal and professional improvement
  • Have a proven record of excellence in teaching in the ECD Phase, which attests to the applicant’s passion, innovation and vibrancy for teaching in this phase
  • Be empathetic and inspirational
  • Have a police clearance certificate
  • SACE registration
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • A high degree of initiative and dedication
