Auburn House Montessori School is looking for a Montessori qualified 6-9yrs Lead Teacher. The position is available from January 2023.
Requirements:
- A love of children and education
- Montessori 6-9 training
- BEd or other relevant degree and PGCE
- Willingness to supplement, enrich and support our current programme
- Experience in a Montessori pre-school or primary classroom
- Self-driven with organisational and classroom management skills
- A thorough understanding of the developmental and holistic needs of primary-aged children
- Knowledge/experience of environmental matters and sustainability
- Fluent in English with the ability to speak and teach Afrikaans
- Willing to run a craft/sports club
