MIDDLE SCHOOL AFRIKAANS TEACHER (Grade 6 – Grade 9)

Redhill High School is seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and innovative educator who is passionate about teaching Afrikaans to join our First Additional Language Faculty. Reporting to the Head of Department for Afrikaans for the Junior and Middle School, the ideal candidate will be an experienced Afrikaans teacher with a proven track record of being able to engage with students at Grade 6 to Grade 9 level.

The successful applicant will need to be a strong team player committed to the Redhill ethos of high academic expectations. Furthermore, they will also need to embrace the school’s teaching philosophy, which encourages critical thinking and creativity.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking an exceptionally experienced and dedicated Afrikaans teacher with a proven track record of success in teaching learners in from Grade 6 to Grade 9.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification and demonstrate extensive expertise in teaching Afrikaans at Grade 6 to Grade 9 level.
  • Be passionate about innovative teaching methods, incorporating technology and real-world applications into the classroom.

  • Bring strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills to a high-performing department.
