MATHEMATICS TEACHER / HEAD OF MATHS

The German International School in Cape Town (DSK) is an independent international School catering for learners from Grade 1 to Grade 12. We are a bilingual co-ed school with the learners selecting either the German or English stream syllabus for both South African and European University Entrance Qualification. Established in 1883 we are a modern and well-equipped international school with a diverse student and teacher body.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION WE REQUIRE :
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree In Mathematics with a postgraduate teaching qualification
- SACE registration
- Extensive experience teaching IEB Mathematics (including marking experience)
- Proven track record as a Head of Department and an ability to motivate and guide highly skilled team members
- A high level of computer literacy using modern technology teaching methods
- A passion for teaching learners at the FET level
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong administrative skills
- South African citizenship or permanent residency or a valid work permit.
- A clear criminal clearance.
Experience in teaching Further Studies Mathematics will be advantageous.
