Grayston Preparatory School is an independent (private), co-educational preparatory school situated in Sandown, Sandton.

Applicants for a Mathematics teacher should fulfil the following requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification and proven track record as a highly-skilled Mathematics educator with SACE registration
  • An ability to teach Maths across all Grades 4-7 would be an advantage
  • Be self-motivated, organised and energetic, with high levels of computer literacy
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Display a future-orientated approach to teaching and learning
  • Teaching expertise in other subjects would be an advantage
  • Prepared to be part of an evolving team through self-reflection, feedback and instructional coaching
  • Have good time management skills and be proactive in meeting deadlines
  • Be adaptable, flexible and open to change
  • Have a record of commitment and professionalism
  • Show positive involvement in co-curricular and sporting activities
  • Be willing to participate fully in the life of the School and be involved in our programmes and projects e.g. outings, camps, outreach, concerts, etc.
