Every team needs individuals. Every individual needs a team.
The Library Teaching Partner works alongside the Pretoria Campus Librarian in most aspects of teaching and learning that takes place in the library. He/she establishes an effective rapport with students and other staff members to support and enhance AISJ’s learning program. The Library Teacher Partner should be familiar with all school procedures to ensure a cohesive approach is followed. As the library is a communal space, engagement with teaching and supporting colleagues and parents is expected. Maintaining the relevant collection and library resources is critical.
As a Teacher Partner at AISJ you will have an opportunity to work with students from around the world. You will learn about research-based practices in education and how to assess and use student data to plan for instruction in order to meet the needs of each child.
