We are currently seeking a talented and highly innovative teacher with a proven ability to operate effectively within a team environment to start from Term 2 2023. The successful applicant must be a dynamic, enthusiastic and collegial educator. They must have a commitment to ensuring students develop strong foundations in literacy and numeracy as well as fostering a love of learning by challenging and supporting every student.
Teachers are required to work collaboratively with parents and each other to provide a supportive environment where students can develop their areas of strength while embracing new and exciting opportunities. Emphasis is placed on the development of positive relationships and the promotion of sound values.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a qualified teacher, with SACE registration
    Have the ability to teach Grade 4 and 5 students, as well as take on responsibilities of managing the pastoral, behavioral, academic and social needs of students
    Be able to work effectively in a team environment
    Be a positive, hard-working, and flexible professional
    Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in interactions with colleagues, parents as well as students
    Be able to create a learning environment that stimulates interest and purposeful learning
    Be able to apply sound pedagogical principles in the classroom, including creative and critical thinking tools
    Have good skills utilizing and facilitating the use of technology in the classroom
    Be prepared to participate in the co-curricular and sporting life of the school, including rostered supervisory duties around the school grounds
    Be able to initiate new ideas
    Know the importance of creativity in the class
    Understand the value of being passionate about teaching
    Carry out the ethos and culture of the school
