Junior School Mathematics Teacher
St Mary’s DSG, an independent, all-girls Anglican School, aims to create a pathway empowering confident young women of integrity and character to explore their potential and who positively contribute to our nation and the world. The School invites suitably experienced candidates, who meet the criteria, to apply for the role of Junior School Mathematics Teacher.
Grade 4-7 Mathematics Teacher
Graduate with a recognised academic degree and professional teaching qualification
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position
Be a dynamic, confident, innovative and experienced team player
Have confidence, knowledge, experience and ability in teaching Mathematics across Grade 4-7
Be familiar with a variety of mathematics programmes that promote problem solving and development of fundamental mathematical skills
Show a willingness to research, learn and implement the Abacus Maths Curriculum
Understand and promote the importance of using a skills-based curriculum to promote critical thinking
Proficient in the use of iPads and MS Teams in the teaching and learning process
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Contribute to the wider life at the School, through involvement in the extracurricular and pastoral care programmes.
Willing to support the Christian faith and values of the school
Available to start in January 2023
