The school seeks to employ a dynamic and professional person in the position of isiZulu teaching who will report directly to the Junior School Head.

The successful candidate will:

  • Require an appropriate degree or diploma with the ability to teach isiZulu as a first additional language
  • Have in-depth knowledge regarding 21st Century teaching strategies
  • Be able to teach across Grade 4-7
  • Be registered with SACE
  • Have excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Be able to work under pressure, plan and meet deadlines
  • Be committed to the extra-mural programme of the school
  • Be willing to attend and support Staff Development
  • Be able to lead and work within a team
  • Appreciate working in a values-driven, Christian environment
  • Be required to uphold the ethos and traditions of the school
  • Be willing to apply for clearance with the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offences Register

The ability to teach a second subject will be an advantage.
