IT TEACHER/CO-ORDINATOR (Grades 1-7)
Micklefield is at the forefront of IT education. We are a Google, Apple and Microsoft School and the successful applicant must
Be knowledgeable in Google, Apple and Microsoft products
Be knowledgeable in a variety of web 2.0 tools
Teach computer skills to each of the grades from Grade 1 – Grade 7
Provide ongoing IT skills training and technical support to staff
Assist teachers with blended learning projects and development of IT resources
Integrate IT and critical thinking skills into lessons
Co-ordinate the IT requirements of the school together with the external IT Support Team
Keep up to date on trends i.e. robotics, coding
Have experience in software and IT system support (a recommendation)
Requirements include being

willing to be involved in the extra-curricula programme and in the broader life of the school
