Internship: Sound and Lighting
The successful candidate will have an interest in sound and lighting and a relevant full or part qualification. The ideal person is innovative, energetic, and creative and prepared to play a full and active role in the life of the School.
Responsibilities include:
- Assistance with setting up, striking, and running events, including the running of sound equipment and lights for events such as sports days or productions.
- Assistance in the maintenance, inventory, and organization of sound and lighting equipment to ensure everything is in optimal condition for future use.
- Assistance with administration, including assisting the theatre manager with procurement processes.
- Assisting the theatre manager and the student Technical Teams to manage school assemblies.
Qualifications:
- A passion for AV, specifically in sound and lighting.
- Previous experience in sound and lighting as part of a school technical team is an advantage.
- Eagerness to learn new skills.
- A formal full or part qualification in sound and lighting is an advantage.
