The Kyalami Schools Group consists of three high-performing independent schools, namely, Beaulieu Preparatory, Kyalami Preparatory and Beaulieu College – all located in the pristine countryside north of Johannesburg
Beaulieu College is an English medium, co-educational, independent school situated in the country environs of Midrand, Johannesburg. It offers a dynamic academic, cultural, sporting and Multi-faith education to approximately 500 pupils from Grade 8 – 12.
We invite young, enthusiastic, hardworking students who are currently studying education part-time, through a recognized tertiary institution, to apply for an internship position in the areas of IT (FET) and/or Technology (GET)
This will be a one-year programme in which the intern will be required to engage in the daily life of the school. He/she will need to be committed to a full school day, which will include observation, preparation and presentation of lessons, break duties and involvement in the school co-curricular programme. In addition, the intern will need to complete all university assignments and course work throughout the year.

Experienced subject specialist teachers, will mentor the intern.
Currently enrolled at a tertiary institution part-time or newly qualified.
Studying towards a recognised teaching qualification, (e.g. PGCE) majoring in IT/Technology would be an advantage.
Be willing to take guidance and instruction from teachers
Classroom assistance, observation, preparation and presentation of lessons
General academic duties including assisting with marking and invigilation
General duties and involvement in the school co-curricular programme
Active and innovative member of the teaching body
