INTERN EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST / MASTERS STUDENT
 To commence duties on the 1 January 2025 or at a negotiated date.
Grantley College offers the opportunity to a intern psychologist / masters student who is interested in working in a premier Support (LSEN) space to develop and grow their skills.
The successful candidate:
- Must be qualified as noted above
- Must have HPCSA student certification.
- Must speak superior English.
The successful candidate would preferably:
- Preference is given to a qualified educator who is changing career paths or a candidate who has classroom experience.
- Have a very good work ethic and be a team player.
- Be willing to attend and provide professional development in the LSEN space.
- Be able to identify with the values, ethos, and mission of our school.
- Be willing to participate in general curriculum support.
- Have a current police clearance certificate
- Have a current child protection clearance certificate
The successful candidate will
- Provide therapeutic intervention as per their scope
- Assist in completing all necessary assessments and applications for academic accommodations and concessions
- Work closely with the Amanuensis team.
- Offer professional development for the teaching staff, giving them strategies and support as they help our young people to thrive.
- Be an integral part of the school health and wellness team.
- Be part of the team offering parent workshops.
- Interact and support the Life Skills program of Grantley College
- Be a part of the Reading and critical thinking program.
