INTERMEDIATE PHASE FAL ISIZULU TEACHER
Founded in 1887, Durban Girls’ College is a leading, independent, Christian girls’ school with a proud history that offers an innovative and relevant education for girls from Grade 00 to Grade 12.
We seek to employ an energetic, organised and experienced teacher with a passion for teaching isiZulu as a First Additional Language to Senior Primary pupils from Grade 4 to Grade 7.
The self-motivated, intuitive individual should:
have a professional teaching qualification and be able to fulfil the role of a specialist FAL isiZulu teacher for Grades 4 – 7
be a team player, with well-developed interpersonal skills
be dynamic, caring and innovative, with a progressive approach to teaching
have experience in using Google Classroom and able to integrate IT into the teaching programme, including the use of iPads
be willing to participate in the co-curricular programme of the school
have strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in the English language
appreciate working in a values-driven environment
have sound administrative, organisational and IT skills
be SACE registered
be in possession of a current Police Clearance Certificate
