Mitchell House is an independent English-medium school in Polokwane founded in 1994. The school is located on a high-lying, sixteen hectare site, and pursues a holistic educational philosophy that includes academic, sporting and cultural excellence as primary goals.
The School seeks to recruit a suitable applicant to fill the following teaching position:
Home Language English Teacher Grade 8 – 12
Applicants should be dynamic, enthusiastic and creative educators with strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to work as part of a team.
The requirements for this position are as follows:
- Appropriate university degree and professional qualification.
- Proven academic record.
- SACE registered.
- Sound knowledge of the IEB curriculum and assessment.
- Computer skills and knowledge of various electronic media.
- Future-orientated approach to teaching and learning.
- Ability to teach Advanced Programme English will be an advantage.
- Willingness and ability to assist with extra-mural activities.
The successful applicant will be required to fill this post from January 2023.
