A strong, dedicated Visual Art’s Department is looking for an inspirational HOD to join a supportive, committed and innovative team.
We seek to appoint an individual from September 2021 who:
is an enthusiastic HOD with a love of Visual Arts and is able to share this passion with their students
will positively contribute to the leadership and growth of the department
has excellent and thorough content knowledge, and can deliver engaging and effective lessons
is organised, flexible and self-motivated, with excellent and thorough content knowledge
has sound experience in the setting of assessments at the senior level
uses technology to improve administrative efficiency and enhance the educational experience in the classroom
can demonstrate an ongoing commitment to his or her own professional development
has skills and experience that will contribute to the broader school life.
Members of staff are expected to support the Christian ethos of the school.
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree and SACE registration
7+ years teaching experience
Has IEB and/or A Level teaching experience
