Kingsmead seeks to employ the following enthusiastic, innovative and highly dynamic individual:

Hockey Coach

Main criteria for this role:

  • Be available for the duration of hockey season for Senior School (March-July) and Junior School (May-July)
  • The coaching of students during team practises.
  • Completing of registers and team lists for the relevant TIC
  • Work collaboratively with the hockey coaches and sports department to uplift hockey at Kingsmead
  • Write player specific comments for their allocated teams for school reports.
  • Understand and adhere to by-laws, policies, procedures, regulations, rules and ethos of Kingsmead College Junior School and Senior School.
  • Minimum Level 1 SAHA hockey coaching qualifications and similar umpiring qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years coaching hockey experience in either Senior or Junior school
  • Sexual Offenders clearance certificate
  • Available to work during the week (afternoons) and weekends (mornings)
  • Be able to coach in both the Senior School and Junior School if needs be and indicate preferred age group to coach.
