HIGH SCHOOL – HEAD OF MATHEMATICS – 2025
Date of Commencement – 1 April 2025 or by mutual agreement
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who will inspire a passion for Mathematics in our girls. The candidate must have a proven track record comprising innovation and the ability to promote a stimulating environment. The successful candidate will have strong emotional intelligence and be a visionary leader who is able to guide a team of dedicated and committed staff within the Mathematics Department.
Requirements for the above post:
- Suitable university degree/teaching qualification
- SACE Registration
- Experience in teaching the IEB Curriculum from Grade 8 to Grade 12
- A minimum of 5 years experience teaching Grade 12
- Working knowledge of the CAPS and SAGS documents
- Experience in IEB marking
- Experience in teaching Further Studies Mathematics
- Experience in IT integrated teaching and excellent administrative skills
- Previous experience in a Senior Leadership role
- The ability to fulfil a Tutor role and be involved in the extramural programme of the school.
