Position Available: High School CAT Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Information Technology / CAT Teacher to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our IT/CAT program.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable CAT Teacher who meets the IEB criteria. The successful candidate will have an excellent command of all MS platforms, including Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment that inspires a love for IT and encourages students to excel in the subject. Previous experience teaching CAT in an IEB school is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Computer Applications Technology (CAT) according to the IEB curriculum.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
- Utilize and teach all MS platforms effectively, including Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help students achieve their potential.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of IT and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into teaching practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the IT/CAT curriculum and resources.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to IT to further engage students and promote the subject.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification and certification.
- Proven experience in teaching CAT, preferably in an IEB school.
- Excellent knowledge of MS platforms: Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
