We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Accounting & Computer Applications Technology (CAT) Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Accounting and CAT in accordance with IEB criteria, inspiring students to develop a strong interest and proficiency in these subjects.


  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Accounting and CAT lessons that meet IEB standards.
  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for the subjects.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Accounting and CAT curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Accounting, Computer Applications Technology, or a related field.
  • SACE Registered
  • A teaching qualification recognized by the relevant educational authorities.
  • Previous experience teaching Accounting and CAT in an IEB school is highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of IEB curriculum and assessment standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a love for Accounting and CAT among students and develop these subjects within the school.
  • Proficiency in using technology and various educational software to enhance teaching and learning.

Salary will be commensurate with experience, with potential accommodation provided in lieu of doing Boarding House duty.
