HEAD/Pedagogical Director OF PRE-PRIMARY AND FOUNDATION PHASE
This school is entering an exciting phase of growth and development that offers the opportunity for a dedicated, passionate and experienced educator to be Head/Pedagogical Director of the established Pre-Primary Phase and drive the establishment of the Primary school. As the school is licenced to offer the ISASA Curriculum, five years’ experience in a similar school in a leadership role would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate, reporting to the owners of the school would:
- possess relevant professional qualifications in Education preferably in the Foundation Phase
- provide strategic leadership, oversee the day-to-day operations, and foster a positive learning environment
- promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in curriculum development, instructional methods, and assessment practices
- have sound knowledge of educational policies, standards, and best practice, with a focus on safeguarding
- market the school to grow the primary school classes
- oversee admissions and enrolment management
- possess excellent communication skills (staff, pupils and parents)
- preferably have a working knowledge of Portuguese (not essential)
The school offers an attractive salary of USD 1.500 as well as health insurance contributions and transport to the applicant’s home base once per annum.
