Riverview Prep School, founded in 1997, is an Independent Christian English-medium school situated outside the town of Malelane, Mpumalanga, on the border of the Kruger National Park. We offer classes from early Preschool (18 months of age) to Grade 7, and comprise approximately 180 learners.
We strive for educational excellence guided by Christian ethos, while developing pupils who are universally competitive, guardians of their environment, heritage, social well-being and who contribute to the welfare of the community. It is vital that the candidate is supportive of this vision, and our school motto of “Integrity.”
Riverview seeks to employ an energetic and positive “people person” to motivate our staff and learners, and to lead by example in the small-school environment
The following qualifications and attributes are important:
- Appropriate academic and professional qualifications
- A proven track record and relevant experience in a leadership and management role
- Share Riverview’s values both professionally and personally
- Very good command of English communication skills
- Willingness to be a “team player” and work harmoniously with learners, parents, staff and members of our Malelane community
- Ability to teach, and to participate in Riverview’s sport and cultural programmes
- Willingness to promote a balance between academic, sport, cultural and service aspects of Riverview
