Penryn NPC, situated in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, is an independent co-educational school with a Christian ethos, linked to the Methodist Church. Penryn is a member of ISASA and a global member of the Round Square organization.

Penryn Preparatory is seeking to appoint a HOD: Co-curricular and DIB Coordinator with a passion for sport and education, and a desire to motivate co-curricular excellence among scholars. Self-motivated, energetic, and able to use your own initiative whilst working co-operatively as part of a team. The position will commence on 1 January 2024

Key requirements and experience:

  • A professional teaching qualification and SACE Registered
  • An ability to lead the co-curricular program and P.E within the school
  • Strong knowledge of all sporting codes as well as coaching abilities
  • Penreach SportReach coordinator
  • Member of the Preparatory Executive Team
  • Strong leadership, organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication skills and scholar management
  • Competence in terms of computer literacy in Google Suite and Microsoft
  • Curriculum planning, development, and assessment
    ● Excellent interpersonal skills with scholars, colleagues, and parents
    ● Attend parent meetings and information sessions
    ● Shall be required to get relevant clearance certificates
