Half-Day Accounts Assistant

St Teresa’s School requires an Accounts Assistant to fill a half-day post that has become available (07:00 – 13:00). This post will be suitable for a part-time student.
Qualifications and experience:
The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of the following:
- Matric certificate with Accounting as a subject.
- Studying towards a BCom Accounting degree preferably 2nd year.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Have knowledge of Pastel Partner.
The candidate is required to:
- have excellent organisational and time management skills, the ability to work under pressure, and to meet deadlines.
- have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- be accurate and pay attention to detail.
- maintain absolute confidentiality.
- have excellent computer, administrative and organisational skills.
- have a flexible and adaptable approach to work with an ability to use their own initiative and work independently.
- have sound work standards and ethics.
- have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to participate as a team member and achieve agreed objectives.
- have a professional appearance.
The ideal candidate should be organised, enthusiastic and suited to teaching in a girls’ Catholic school with the ability to identify and contribute to the values and ethos of the school.
