Cedarwood School: College is an inclusive remedial high school (Grades 7-12) offering an academic curriculum culminating in the GDE Senior Certificate, as well as a Vocational Pathway for non-academic learners at the FET level. We are situated in a country setting between Lone Hill and Kyalami, Gauteng. Our children have mild to moderate support needs which prevent them from coping adequately in a mainstream school environment.

Minimum requirements

  • Suitable professional qualification, as well as a PGCE and preferably a qualification in Inclusive Education.
  • Must have at least 2 years teaching experience and experience in teaching a skills-based curriculum
  • Permanent SACE registration
  • Commitment to the ethos and mission of the school
  • Commitment to the extra mural programme of the school
  • Police clearance certificate
