Full-time, Permanent Position

Start date:  1st of April 2024

Kammaland Primary School seeks to employ a dynamic, passionate and vibrant Grade 4 educator and who aligns with the school’s vision of delivering a fun and innovative way of getting the curriculum across to it’s learners.

The ideal candidate is one who:

  • adheres to the Christian Ethos of the School while respecting other religions
  • has a 4-year teaching degree and/or PGCE with full SACE registration (possible consideration for 4th year student, depending).
  • has two years, or more, experience teaching at a senior primary level
  • is confident in curriculum management (CAPS), and reporting of pupil progress
  • is informed of the latest developments and best practices in teaching the various Grade 4 subjects and has a keen interest in latest educational trends
  • collaborates openly and keenly with colleagues
  • is proactive and maintains positive relationships with all stakeholders
  • has a natural inclination toward constant improvement and personal growth
  • has good verbal and written communication skills
  • is computer literate, (knowledge in basic coding and robotics is advantageous)
  • can adapt to a “small town” way of living if relocation is required
  • has coached senior sport (netball, hockey, athletics)
