Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Develop lesson plans and curricula based on the requirements of the CAPS curriculum.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
  • Participate in school activities and staff meetings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and educational standards.
  • Make use of the educational platforms provided.

Competencies Required:

  • A strong grasp of the Foundation phase subjects, English and Setswana will be an advantage.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • Creative and innovative approach to teaching.
  • Strong organizational and classroom management skills.

Requirements:

  • Recognized teaching qualification and SACE registration.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and innovative teaching methods.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
