Post Requirements:

Micklefield School invites suitable candidates to apply for the position of Grade 0 Teacher.
We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative individual with the relevant qualifications, experience and academic vision.

The following qualities and skills are essential to the position:

• A teaching qualification relevant to the post
• Registered with SACE
• Current Police Clearance Certificate
• A dynamic, inspirational, enthusiastic, innovative individual with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong administrative, report-writing, organisational and time management skills
• An excellent command of written and spoken English
• Forward thinking, passionate and willing to instill a love for learning in learners
• Promoting and developing the relevant curriculum per the school’s standards, aims, and policies
• The ability and willingness to integrate technology into teaching and be adept at presenting an integrated, rich teaching curriculum
• Prioritising individual learner attainment and achievements, and closely monitoring and supporting learner progress
• Supporting and upholding the ethos of the school as contained in the Mission Statement
• Working as part of a team with other staff to create an environment of personal excellence for all learners
• Fully supporting the academic, sports, cultural and extra-mural programmes at Micklefield
• Having an awareness and informed understanding of children with special educational needs (SEN) and those requiring extension, with the ability to adapt and differentiate teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
