INTERMEDIATE PHASE TEACHER
General Science (History, Geography, Natural Science)
Grayston Preparatory School is an independent (private), co-educational preparatory school situated in Sandown, Sandton.
Applicants for a General Science teacher should fulfil the following requirements:
- A recognised teaching qualification with SACE registration
- An ability to teach History, Geography and Natural Sciences across Grades 4-7 would be an advantage
- Experience in PBL and/or IBL would be advantageous
- Be self-motivated, organised and energetic, with high levels of computer literacy
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Display a future-orientated approach to teaching and learning
- Prepared to be part of an evolving team through self-reflection, feedback and instructional coaching
- Have good time management skills and be proactive in meeting deadlines
- Be adaptable, flexible and open to change
- Have a record of commitment and professionalism
- Show positive involvement in co-curricular and sporting activities
- Be willing to participate fully in the life of the School and be involved in our programmes and projects e.g. outings, camps, outreach, concerts, etc.
