The French department is a department of highly professional teachers functioning with a strong collegial ethos. In addition to French from grades 8 – 12, we offer and A-level French in the Sixth Form programme.

We are looking to appoint an individual who:
is an enthusiastic teacher with a love of French and is able to share this passion with his or her students,
has excellent and thorough content knowledge, and can deliver engaging and effective lessons as well as setting of assessments at the senior level,
is organised, flexible and self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills,
uses technology to improve administrative efficiency and enhance the educational experience in the classroom,
can demonstrate an ongoing commitment to his or her own professional development,
will contribute to the endeavours and growth of the department,
members of staff are expected to support the Christian ethos of the school.
A Bachelor’s Degree or similar
A minimum of five years teaching experience in the FET phase, including teaching Grade 12 French
SACE registration or willingness to register
