Seeking Educators for a Visionary School

Established in 1997, by Kgosi Mollwane Lebone Boikanyo Molotlegi, Lebone II – College of the Royal Bafokeng is a leading independent preparatory and secondary school for boys and girls from South Africa and the rest of Africa. Lebone II is a school both rooted in an extraordinary African Culture, the Royal Bafokeng Nation, and poised towards a global future.

French Second Additional Language (SAL) (Grades 8 – 12) & English Home Language (HL) Educator (Grades 8 – 10)

OUR CANDIDATE

The Board of Governors is in search of a suitably qualified, dynamic educator who is a strong believer in the potential of every young person; who thrives in being innovative; who is excited to be involved in a school of the future; who will understand the dynamics of working in a community-based school with great aspirations.

The applicant for this position should be:

  • Committed to professional development and the honing of their teaching practice
  • Excited about working in an environment of collaborative planning and teaching
  • Passionate about education with the relevant experience
  • SACE registered
  • Computer literate and able to integrate IT in the teaching programme
  • Familiarity with the Google Classroom platform is preferred
  • Prepared to participate in pastoral, cultural and, or extramural activities of the College

Requirements

  • Applicants should have a relevant BEd degree / PGCE
  • Applicants should have previous Grades 8 – 12 French and Grades 8 – 10 English teaching experience
  • Applicants should have high competence in spoken French
  • A minimum of 5 years teaching experience
  • IEB teaching experience will be an added advantage

The successful candidate to commence duty on 1 January 2023.
