The School invites applications for a dynamic Teacher for the following post to be taken up from May 2022.

PRIMARY SCHOOL

FOUNDATION PHASE TEACHER GRADE 3

The successful candidate will have amongst others the following as minimum expectations:

  • A recognised Professional Qualification as a Foundation Phase Teacher, as well as full S.A.C.E registration
  • Be computer literate and be in possession of necessary devices
  • Ideally, have experience with Google Classroom
  • Have at least two years teaching experience within the Foundation Phase and in particular, Grade 3.
  • Have a clear understanding and acceptance of Independent School practice
  • Be passionate about teaching children with a range of needs.
  • Have a sound understanding of the teaching of Reading
  • Must be prepared to work outside school hours, where necessary.
  • An ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues, parents and children is essential
  • Applicant must be able to work independently and show initiative around teaching and implementation of innovative ideas within the classroom and phase.
