St Nicholas Diocesan School is an Anglican, Independent, Co-ed, Day and Boarding School situated in the heart of Pietermaritzburg, catering for pupils from Grade RR to Grade 12.

FOUNDATION PHASE EDUCATOR
(01 January 2025 or Negotiable)
The school is looking to appoint a full-time, experienced FOUNDATION PHASE Teacher, with five or more years’ experience, with effect from January 2025.
Please note that consideration will only be given to candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Relevant teaching qualification or recognised degree and experience as stated above
- SACE registration
- A valid Police Clearance Certificate
- Passionate about teaching and about making a difference
- Working knowledge of the CAPS document is essential, as is creativity and motivation in the classroom and an ability to work effectively as a member of a team
- Working knowledge and teaching experience in the Time2Read program will be an advantage
- Be prepared to participate in the pastoral, cultural and extramural activities of the school
- Possess qualities such as organisational skills, teamwork skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Uphold the Christian ethos of the school
