We invite applications for the following post:
FOUNDATION PHASE ART/ MUSIC/ ISI ZULU TEACHER
The successful candidate must be an experienced and well-qualified teacher who holds an appropriate and professional teaching qualification and is registered with SACE. Previous experience in independent Education is an advantage but not essential
In addition, the applicant must:
Have relevant academic qualifications
Have an appropriate university degree / professional teaching
Be an experienced Foundation Phase teacher
Be registered with SACE
Have a passion for teaching
Must have experience teaching the subject
Be responsible for the Junior Phase Art Exhibition and year-end Talent Montage
Must have a good verbal and written command of the English language
Proven ability to work as part of a team
Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
Be creative, innovative, organised and well – motivated in teaching the required subjects for the grade
Be computer literate and prepared to engage with 21st Century teaching methodologies
Be prepared to work outside of school hours where necessary
Be willing to participate in the life of the School and be involved in our programmes and projects e.g. outings, outreach programmes and concerts etc
Show positive involvement in the school’s diverse sport and co-curricular activities
Have a clear criminal / sexual offenses record and be able to provide a valid clearance document
Be self-motivated, independent, creative and willing to accept responsibility
Have previous experience in a similar role in a school environment
Have a proven ability to work collaboratively and energetically within a dynamic organisation
Be proactive and show initiative
