POSITION: EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
The Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa (ISASA) is seeking a suitably qualified full-time Executive Assistant to provide a proactive administrative, communications and company secretarial service to the Executive Director and Management Committee.
The key performance areas for this role include:
- Diary management and planning.
- Meeting coordination.
- Communication and office administration.
- Stakeholder engagement.
- Contract management.
- Company Secretarial Function: Scheduling meetings, assisting in preparing meeting documents and presentations, recording the register, and drafting of minutes, for the ISASA Council, ISASA Directorate, Management and Executive Committees.
- Uploading of job advertisements onto the ISASA website and other platforms.
- Support to ISASA, SAHISA and SABISA Conferences as needed.
- Co-ordinating special projects for the Executive Director and ISASA.
- Form part of the Directorate Support Services.

Applicants must hold, at minimum, a Bachelor Degree or higher and have at least five years’ experience in a similar senior support role. Completion of short Chartered Institute of Administrators and Secretaries (CIS) courses and experience in governance administration are preferred factors of knowledge.
The appointment is planned for 1 March 2024 at the latest.
The remuneration package is competitive and negotiable in line with the successful applicant’s skills and experience.
