The Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa (ISASA) is seeking a suitably qualified full-time Executive Assistant to provide a proactive administrative, communications and company secretarial service to the Executive Director and Management Committee.
The key performance areas for this role include:
Diary management and planning.
Communication and office administration.
Company Secretarial Function: Scheduling meetings, assisting in preparing meeting documents and presentations, recording the register, and drafting of minutes, for the ISASA Council, ISASA Directorate, Management and Executive Committees.
Uploading of job advertisements onto the ISASA website and other platforms.
Support to ISASA, SAHISA and SABISA Conferences as needed.
Co-ordinating special projects for the Executive Director and ISASA.
Form part of the Directorate Support Services.

Applicants must hold, at minimum, a Bachelor Degree or higher and have at least five years’ experience in a similar senior support role. Completion of short Chartered Institute of Administrators and Secretaries (CIS) courses and experience in governance administration are preferred factors of knowledge.
The appointment is planned for 1 March 2024 at the latest.
The remuneration package is competitive and negotiable in line with the successful applicant’s skills and experience.
